Eugenius Philalethes his magical Aphorisms

1 The Point came forth before all things: it is neither atomic nor mathematical, being a diffused point.The Monad manifested explicitly but a myriad were implied.There was light and there was darkness, beginning and the end thereof, the all and naught, being and non being.
2 The Monad produced the Duad by self-motion, and the visages of the Second Light manifested through the Triad.

Podíamos estar a ler o Fédon de Platão e a apresentação que Sócrates faz aos discípulos do seu entendimento dos números um, dois e três e da relevancia que o ímpar três adquire no processo da criação; algo que muito ocupará alquimistas e kabalistas e hoje em dia matemáticos e filósofos da ciência.
